ASUS has just added a fresh ROG Strix GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB GDDR7 OC Edition to its big lineup of NVIDIA GPUs. They rolled out new ROG Strix cards earlier this year, but they didn’t show up during the initial RTX 50-series launches. Instead, ASUS focused on getting their TUF Gaming and PRIME lines into stores during the first part of 2025. Now, according to VideoCardz, media outlets have gotten their hands on ROG Strix GeForce RTX 5070 Ti review samples. BenchLife.info hinted at a full review coming soon, and their quick “hands-on” look dropped an interesting idea about how ASUS might be shaking up its product lineup.

Chris L., the article’s writer, shared: “The ROG Strix RTX 50-series is finally here! After testing the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, we’re back with the RTX 5070 Ti. ASUS has tweaked the RTX 50-series lineup, moving ROG Strix aside to make way for ROG Astral as the top-tier graphics card line for the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 models. Now, ROG Strix, TUF Gaming, ProArt, Prime, and DUAL series offer different options for gamers. The flagship ROG Matrix is still around, but it won’t show up until it’s really needed.” For now, it looks like ROG Strix is focusing on custom versions—standard and overclocked—of the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070.
What do you think about this shift in ASUS’s lineup? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
