It’ll also be available day one with Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass. Play on Xbox Series X|S or Xbox PC with Xbox Play Anywhere. This version includes everything from Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, making it the most complete take on the original yet. You’ll get instant access to all post-launch content for free, like the extra Campaign act, all multiplayer maps and modes, and a full lineup of classic characters and cosmetics you can unlock as you play.

Reloaded is all about teaming up—whether you’re playing split-screen with someone at home or jumping online. The Campaign lets you team up with a friend, and Versus Multiplayer supports up to 8 players. With cross-play across all platforms, you can squad up with friends no matter where they play, and you don’t even need a Microsoft account to get started. Signing in with one, though, unlocks full cross-platform features, letting your Campaign and multiplayer progress carry over to different devices.
