Great news for gamers—Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is almost here! Hideo Kojima shared an exciting update on the Koji10 radio show, saying the game is now 95% done. He explained that it’s like the final hours of a 24-hour day, meaning they’re in the last stages of a big creative push. The game is set to release on June 26, so Kojima Productions still has a bit of time to make everything perfect.
In Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, we’ll follow Sam Porter Bridges (played by Norman Reedus) again. Sam’s a delivery man who brings supplies to isolated people in America after the “Death Stranding” event, which mixed the worlds of the living and the dead. In the first game from 2019, Sam traveled across the country to reconnect people, stop a terrorist group, and avoid creepy creatures and “Timefall”—a rain that ages things instantly. In this sequel, Sam will join forces with other survivors for a new, mysterious mission.
What’s Next for Kojima Productions?
With the June 26 release date approaching, Kojima Productions is working on the final touches for Death Stranding 2. We can expect more updates soon, which will definitely build even more excitement for this much-awaited sequel. Are you ready to jump back into Sam’s world? I know I am!
