AMD is stepping up its game in the AI world, and I’m excited to share what’s new! After recently buying ZT Systems to boost its datacenter and AI work, AMD has now partnered with Stability AI. Together, they’re building AI models that work especially well on AMD hardware, giving a performance boost of up to 4.3 times.
The first result of this partnership is Amuse 3.0, an AI model designed just for AMD users. Paired with a new AMD driver coming soon, this model lets you do things like video diffusion, video restyling, and access over 100 new image models from the Stable Diffusion family. These are tools you can run right on your own device, which is great for creators who want to speed up their projects. With Amuse 3.0 and the new driver, you’ll see improvements of up to 4.3 times when using these tools on AMD hardware.
If you’re not familiar with Amuse, it’s a free Windows app that helps you create, edit, and draw images using AI. It also supports AMD XDNA Super Resolution for even better results. To get the most out of it, make sure you have AMD Driver version 24.30.31.05 or higher.
You can download Amuse AI for free Here.
Have any of you tried running AI tools on your own device? What do you use them for? I’ve found AI really helpful for things like quick transcripts, especially during big events like CES and Computex. Speaking of which, Computex is coming up soon, and we’ll be bringing you all the latest updates as always! What AI tools are you excited to try?
