AX Gaming, a branch of the well-known Inno3D company, has just launched its exciting new X3W MAX series! Due to recent trade restrictions, this Chinese NVIDIA partner—and others—can’t access the top-tier “Blackwell” GPUs anymore. That means their latest lineup tops out with the GeForce RTX 5080 X3W MAX 16 GB model, at least until a toned-down GeForce RTX 5090D version comes along. Right now, TPU’s GPU database shows a similar all-white non-MAX model with the same shroud design and a close match on the backplate. What sets the MAX series apart is its hidden power connection system, paired with a unique L-shaped custom power cord.

Earlier today, Gigabyte rolled out its own flagship Stealth ICE model, which seems to borrow a few ideas from Sapphire’s latest Nitro+ setup. AX Gaming isn’t stopping at the 5080, though—they’ve also prepped the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti X3W Max 16 GB and GeForce RTX 5070 X3W Max 12 GB for release. There’s even a chance we might see dual-fan (X2W) MAX versions down the road, possibly featuring Team Green’s GeForce RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060 GPUs.

What do you think about this new hidden power design? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
