ASUS just announced their new ZenWiFi BD4 Outdoor router, and it’s perfect for bringing fast Wi-Fi 7 to your outdoor spaces! This tough router lets you connect things like outdoor cameras and smart devices, or even work and stream videos on your patio. It delivers smooth, secure Wi-Fi 7 coverage for multiple devices, no matter the weather.
Fast Speeds and Great Range
The ZenWiFi BD4 Outdoor offers speeds up to 3600 Mbps, reaching as far as 2530 feet. It uses dual-band Wi-Fi 7 with Multi-Link Operation (MLO) to keep your connection steady, plus 4K-QAM for super-efficient data transfer. It also works with ASUS AiMesh routers, so you can extend your Wi-Fi even further with ease.
Built Tough for the Outdoors
This router is made to handle any outdoor setting, all year round. It has an IP65 rating, meaning it’s water-resistant and dustproof, and it’s protected against lightning and power surges. It works in temperatures from -30°C to 60°C. Setting it up is simple with a one-cable option thanks to Power over Ethernet (PoE+) support and two 2.5G PoE-in ports that automatically detect your network. You can also power it with the included AC adapter. Plus, it’s easy to mount on walls, poles, or flat surfaces, so you can put it wherever you need.
Security and Smart Features for Outdoors
The ZenWiFi BD4 Outdoor comes with strong security options, like commercial-grade AiProtection Pro, parental controls, and built-in support for popular VPN services. You can set up a special Wi-Fi network just for VPN access around your home using the Smart Home Master feature. This also lets you create up to three Wi-Fi networks and easily manage devices like security cameras, garage door openers, smart lights, or even a smart BBQ grill.
