Xbox’s Disc-to-Digital program has quietly gained a major new publisher. Community testing has confirmed that several Ubisoft titles can now be registered through the service.
One player on X reported successfully converting physical copies of Trials Fusion, Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, and Far Cry Primal. The same tests also indicated that these games do not currently work with Xbox Backward Compatibility on PC.
Xbox Collection Tracker (XCT), a community-driven site that tracks confirmed titles, has added a large number of Ubisoft games to its Disc-to-Digital list. Franchises now appearing include Watch Dogs, Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, and Tom Clancy titles released on both Xbox Series and Xbox One consoles.
As of the latest update, XCT lists 1,478 games confirmed as part of the Disc-to-Digital program.
This expansion makes it easier for players with older Ubisoft discs to convert them into digital versions that can be downloaded and played without needing the physical media.
