Just days after announcing a delay, Rockstar caught everyone off guard by releasing the second official Grand Theft Auto VI trailer! This two-minute cinematic preview moves away from flashy action to focus on deeper, character-driven storytelling. The video’s description gives a few hints about the plot: “Jason and Lucia have always known life isn’t fair for them. But when a simple job goes south, they end up in the darkest corners of America’s sunniest spot, caught in a statewide criminal conspiracy across Leonida—relying on each other more than ever to survive.”
We still don’t see much gameplay, but the trailer teases some thrilling moments—like intense heists, fast car chases through tight backstreets, and tough shoot-outs on rainy overpasses, all set to a lively synth-heavy soundtrack. With the release now set for May 26, 2026, we’re hoping for more trailers to keep the excitement going.
