Publisher WEMADE MAX Co. Ltd and developer MADNGINE have officially revealed Project TAL, a AAA single-player open-world action-RPG set to launch on PC and consoles in 2027. Drawing deep inspiration from Korea’s traditional Tal masks and their rich mythology and folklore, Project TAL transforms ancient cultural symbols into a breathtaking, immersive fantasy world.

The announcement trailer showcases cinematic visuals and adrenaline-pumping combat: players leap onto colossal monsters, exploit glowing weak points, and unleash tactical counterattacks and combo chains in fluid, fast-paced battles. But you’re never alone—intelligent NPC companions dynamically adapt to your playstyle and the battlefield, offering seamless support, defensive barriers, ranged strikes, or magical aid. One standout moment shows a companion catching you mid-air after a fall, turning near-death into a dramatic comeback.
