JAPANNEXT, a Japanese company known for its creative monitor designs, just released a new model that’s perfect for anyone who needs a bigger screen for work. The JN-IPS276SDQHD-HSPC6-CMS is a 27.6-inch monitor with an IPS panel and a sharp SDQHD resolution of 2,560 x 2,880 pixels. That gives you 2.67 times more space than a Full HD screen! Its vertical design with a 16:18 ratio is great for coders or anyone working on long documents and spreadsheets, since it cuts down on scrolling. Plus, it comes with a handy retractable webcam and microphone at the top. You can connect devices using HDMI 2.0 at 60 Hz, DisplayPort 1.4 at 60 Hz, audio, or USB Type-C, which also delivers 65 W of power.

The monitor has wide 178° viewing angles, a brightness of 300 cd/m², and covers 100% of sRGB and 97% of DCI-P3 colors, with HDR support for better visuals. It also has KVM functionality, so you can share a keyboard and mouse between devices. You can use PBP mode to show two sources side by side or stacked, or PIP mode for a smaller picture-in-picture view. It’s got flicker reduction and blue light filtering to help with eye strain, too.Other features include a stand you can adjust up and down by 100 mm, pivot 90°, and swivel 45° left or right. It has 5 W stereo speakers, works with a VESA 75x75mm mount, and comes with a two-year warranty. The monitor costs 109,800 yen, which is about $765. What do you think of this vertical monitor for your setup? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
