Prime Video is pulling us back into the wasteland in about a month with Fallout Season 2 premiering on December 17, 2025. The trailer is out now—check it out below for a gripping tease!
And yes, that’s Macaulay Culkin in the poster above. The Home Alone star joins the cast in a recurring role as a “crazy genius-type character.” Kumail Nanjiani is also on board for the second season.
Based on the iconic video game franchise, Fallout follows the haves and have-nots in a world where almost nothing’s left to have. “200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind—and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.”

Season 2 picks up from the Season 1 finale, taking us through the Mojave wasteland to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas. The eight-episode run will drop weekly until the finale on February 4, 2026.
Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner return as showrunners, with Prime Video already greenlighting a third season. The cast stars Ella Purnell (“Yellowjackets”), Aaron Moten (Emancipation), Kyle MacLachlan (“Twin Peaks”), and Walton Goggins (“The White Lotus”).
Catch up on Fallout Season 1 now on Prime Video. What do you think about this wasteland return? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
