No surprise that Cyberpunk 2 has blasted past pre-production into full development—CD Projekt Red just revealed the original Cyberpunk 2077 has sold 35 million copies! This milestone helped drive $30.2 million in Q3 2025 revenue from the game and its DLC/expansions alone.
CDPR is ramping up big time, planning to double the size of its Boston and Vancouver studios by the end of 2027. Since July 2025, they’ve hired 52 new team members, bringing the total to 447 developers on The Witcher 4 and 135 working on Cyberpunk 2.
