Cooler Master has just launched the Hyper 212 3DHP, its first air CPU cooler featuring the company’s own 3D Heatpipe technology, which they first showed off at Computex 2025 in May. This cooler brings a fresh take on heat pipe design. Most tower coolers with aluminum fin-stacks have U-shaped heat pipes where the middle touches the CPU. Cooler Master’s 3D Heatpipe, however, has a branch in the middle of the pipe that sticks up through the fin-stack’s center. This helps spread heat more evenly across the fins, reaching both the middle and edges for better cooling.

The Hyper 212 3DHP comes in two versions: the main one with an ARGB LED fan for lighting, and the Hyper 212 3DHP Black with a plain black fan. Other than the lights, they’re the same. The cooler measures 133 mm x 86 mm x 158 mm (W x D x H), though Cooler Master didn’t mention the weight.

It uses two 3D heat pipes that split into six ends, contacting the CPU via a copper base. The included 120 mm fan spins up to 2,050 RPM, delivering up to 63.1 CFM of airflow at 2.69 mm H₂O static pressure, with noise staying under 27 dBA. Unlike some other Cooler Master coolers in this range with 2-year warranties, the 3DHP gets a solid 5-year warranty, showing confidence in the heat pipe quality. Priced at $29.99, the Hyper 212 3DHP Black matches the current Hyper 212 Black.
What do you think about this new cooling design? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
