It’s been 10 years since The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt first launched on May 19, 2015! This beloved open-world role-playing game lets you step into the shoes of Geralt, a monster slayer for hire, as he journeys through the war-torn Northern Kingdoms to find his adopted daughter, Ciri. With over 50 million copies sold—and 75 million for the whole Witcher game series—it’s truly a timeless dark fantasy tale. The game’s community is still growing strong after a decade, and to celebrate both its lasting impact and its amazing fans, CD Projekt RED dropped a special trailer.
The celebrations kicked off with a 10th-anniversary edition of REDstreams today, featuring Doug Cockle, the voice actor for Geralt, and Borys Pugacz-Muraszkiewicz, the English Adaptation Director. They took a trip down memory lane, sharing stories about Doug’s time voicing Geralt, his experience with The Witcher 3, and how the role has shaped his life over the years.
There’s also The Witcher in Concert, a unique live event with a full orchestra, stunning visuals, and gameplay moments. Two anniversary shows are set for Boston on May 31 and Poznań on June 15, leading up to the official tour launch at gamescom in Cologne on August 20. Tickets for the European tour are already up for grabs on the official Witcher in Concert website, with more dates and locations to be announced later. If you sign up for the newsletter, you’ll get early access to ticket pre-sales!

Fans can look forward to more surprises, like a collection of artwork from 10 artists who’ve shaped The Witcher series—like Przemysław “TRUST” Trusciński, who designed Geralt for the first game, and Grzegorz Przybyś, who worked on The Witcher 3’s opening scenes. These pieces will be printed on Displate’s metal canvas and also available on T-shirts, mugs, and other merch.
For players, the new Immerse Gamepack from Embody adds personalized spatial audio to The Witcher 3. If you already own the Cyberpunk 2077 Gamepack, you’ll get this new one for free!
The Witcher world is also growing with The Little Witcher, a charming comic series by the creators of the hit games. It follows Geralt raising young Ciri at Kaer Morhen, offering a fun, lighthearted spin on the story. Published by Random House Worlds, it’s out now in hardcover or ebook.
What do you think about these anniversary celebrations? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
