Electronic Arts Inc. and Battlefield Studios are thrilled to announce the launch of Battlefield 6, the ultimate all-out warfare experience. This groundbreaking title elevates the series with innovative multiplayer modes, a pulse-pounding blockbuster Single Player campaign, the return of Portal with powerful creator tools, and enhancements that create an expansive sandbox where every weapon, vehicle, and strategy can lead to victory. Battlefield 6 is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, EA App, and Epic Games Store.
The year is 2027, and the world teeters on the edge of chaos. The once-solid NATO alliance is fracturing under distrust and turmoil, with financial instability, proxy wars, and political strife leaving nations vulnerable. Enter Pax Armata, a ruthless private military corporation with deep resources and cutting-edge tech, stepping into the power vacuum.

Multiplayer is more diverse than ever, offering a huge variety of modes and content. Battle across stunning, destructible maps, from the majestic mountains of Tajikistan in Liberation Peak to intense standoffs under Manhattan Bridge and chaotic construction sites on Cairo’s outskirts in New Sobek City—plus six more maps showcasing global-scale destruction.
Fan-favorite modes like Conquest, Breakthrough, and Rush return, letting you unleash chaos with weapons, vehicles, and the environment itself. They’re joined by Escalation, a fresh take on all-out warfare. Beyond that, Battlefield 6 adds shooter classics infused with Battlefield’s DNA, including Team Deathmatch, Squad Deathmatch, Domination, and King of the Hill, all with the series’ signature destruction and tactics.
Byron Beede, General Manager of Battlefield, said, “This is the moment we’ve all been waiting for—the new era of ultimate all-out warfare is here. On behalf of Battlefield Studios, we’re so excited for you to join the fight. With Battlefield 6, we aimed to push the series to new heights with intense combat, world-class gunplay, epic warfare, and the player freedom that makes Battlefield iconic.”
The Single Player campaign spans nine adrenaline-fueled missions as Dagger 13, an elite US Marine raider squad taking on Pax Armata. From Brooklyn to Cairo, these jaw-dropping set pieces deliver explosive action on an unmatched scale.
Battlefield 6 also brings back an upgraded Portal, where you can reshape battles or create wild experiences that stretch the series’ limits. These tools let you customize your Battlefield to match your style or go beyond expectations.
Vince Zampella, Executive Vice President, added, “Today’s launch is just day one for Battlefield 6. It offers more ways to play than ever, but this is only the beginning. Season 1 kicks off October 28 with Rogue Ops, including the new Blackwell Fields map and a 4v4 mode. We’re committed to non-stop fun, with California Resistance on November 18 (featuring the Eastwood map) and Winter Offensive on December 9 (with an Empire State seasonal update). All gameplay features will be free or earnable, ensuring fair play for everyone.”
Battlefield 6 is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam, EA App, Epic Games Store). The Standard Edition is $69.99, and the Phantom Edition is $99.99, including the full game, “Phantom Squad” Soldier Skin pack, two high-performance Weapon Packages, a Vehicle Skin, a Combat Knife Skin, and a Battlefield Pro token for Season 1 perks like the Battle Pass, 25 Tier Skips, and exclusive cosmetics.
EA Play members get 10% off the digital Standard Edition, plus the EA Play Deployment Pack for early soldier customization and ongoing rewards. EA Play and EA Play Pro offer unlimited access to Battlefield 2042, Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, and more.
