Take a quick look at Amazon’s best-selling PC cases, and you’ll notice a trend right away. These days, PC builders aren’t just deciding if they want a tempered glass side panel—they’re choosing how many! Panoramic PC cases give you a stunning view of your hardware, so it’s no surprise they’re so popular. But that open display can be a challenge for anyone who likes a neat setup. A single stray cable or wire in your build will catch your eye every time you sit down.

We already offer BTF motherboards, cases, and graphics cards that help you hide cables out of sight, but we’re ready to take things further. We want solutions that work with all PC designs, not just BTF. Behind the scenes, we’ve been working on modular hardware ideas to cut down on cable mess for two big components: case fans and AIO coolers. If you’re visiting our Computex 2025 booth, you’ll see these concepts in action—but if a trip to Taipei isn’t on your calendar, let’s dive into the details!
A Smarter Way to Handle Case Fan Cables
If there’s one thing that often causes cable clutter in modern cases, it’s the fans. Their wires stretch everywhere since fan mounts can be on almost any side of a case that isn’t solid glass. Getting those wires to connect to your motherboard or fan controller without running across the visible inside of your case can be a real pain.
Our new ROG fan controller concept tackles this by cutting out one cable entirely while giving you more options for your cooling setup. This controller uses wireless tech to send fan signals to the motherboard, removing one visible cable and making it easier to tuck the rest out of sight. Plus, since syncing RGB lighting on your fans is a big deal, we’ve kept it compatible with Aura Sync so you can easily set up a fun, seamless light show for your rig.
A Game-Changer for AIO Cooler Wires
Big cable management compartments can do a lot to keep wires hidden in your finished build, but they don’t help with the wires on your all-in-one (AIO) CPU liquid cooler. To tidy things up, builders often resort to zip ties or run wires near the motherboard by the VRM heatsinks—neither of which looks great.

We’ve got a better idea! We’re working on a new wireless ROG AIO cooler that skips the wires completely. Just mount it to a compatible motherboard, and everything the pump needs—like power for the pump and fan, control for the ARGB lighting, and even display output for an LCD screen if it has one—gets connected without clutter. You’ll just have the clean tubing running to the radiator, with no messy wires around the pump.
What’s great about this is that it still works with regular hardware. If you use this AIO on a standard motherboard, you can connect it the usual way with standard cables, just like any typical model.
This design is still in the works, but we’re excited to keep refining it. Stay tuned for updates as we develop this concept further! What do you think about these ideas for a cleaner PC build? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
